Module 3: Troubleshooting Strategies

Troubleshooting is part of the ‘evaluate and analyze’ phase of problem-solving. When troubleshooting a problem, the problem has already been defined and the solution has been developed - but the solution isn’t working like it’s supposed to! Students will learn three industry-proven troubleshooting techniques, apply them to several case studies, and use them on a hands-on building project. Troubleshooting is a skill that requires patience and perseverance. Progress when troubleshooting can often be slow and problem solvers may encounter mental blocks. Students will learn strategies to overcome these mental blocks.
